Winter Harbour Fishing Packages & Rates

Experience Winter Harbour on a private, all-inclusive fishing adventure for groups of up to four guests. Our three- and four-day adventures include professional guided fishing, accommodations and meals, with opportunities to target Chinook and Coho salmon, halibut, lingcod and seasonal Albacore tuna.

With more than 25 years of guiding experience, each day is planned around the conditions, the fishing and the opportunities available—giving us the flexibility to make the most of your time on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

2027 Winter Harbour Fishing Rates

$1,950 per day

For your entire private group of up to four guests.

3-Day Fishing Adventure — $5,850

4-Day Fishing Adventure — $7,800

Plus applicable taxes and gratuity.

Guests arrive in Winter Harbour the evening before their first fishing day, allowing us to get an early start the following morning. On the final day, we fish until approximately 2:00 p.m., depending on fishing, weather and conditions, before guests depart for home.

What’s Included in Your Winter Harbour Fishing Adventure

Your Winter Harbour adventure is designed to keep things simple. Once you arrive at camp, the fishing, accommodations and meals are taken care of so you can concentrate on enjoying your time on the water.

Your package includes:

• Private guided fishing for your group of up to four guests
• Accommodations beginning the night before your first fishing day
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Bait, tackle and fishing equipment
• Cleaning and filleting of your catch
• Freezing your catch if you choose to take it home frozen

Guests may also choose to take their catch home fresh.

Not included: B.C. Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence, applicable taxes, gratuity and optional Port Hardy Airport pickup ($200).

Albacore Tuna Fishing Fuel Cost

When Albacore tuna are available and offshore conditions allow, tuna fishing can be part of your Winter Harbour adventure.

Because the distance to the tuna can vary considerably, there is no fixed additional price for a tuna fishing day. Instead, guests are charged only for the actual fuel used that day.

The boat begins the day fully fueled, and the fuel consumed is calculated at the end of the day. If the tuna are closer, the fuel cost is lower. If reaching the fish requires travelling farther offshore, the fuel cost will be higher.

Our Winter Harbour season runs from mid-June through the end of August. We host a limited number of private groups each season, with adventures typically consisting of three or four full days of fish

Reserving Your Winter Harbour Fishing Adventure

A 25% retainer is required to reserve your adventure and secure your fishing dates. The remaining balance is due when you arrive at camp.

Because we host a limited number of private groups during our Winter Harbour season, dates are not considered confirmed until the retainer has been received.

Vancouver Fishing Charter Rates & Packages

Experience Vancouver salmon fishing aboard a private 28-foot Grady-White Sailfish with more than 25 years of guiding experience behind every trip.

Our Vancouver fishing charters are designed around a simple approach: a private boat, a full day on the water and the flexibility to fish where the best opportunities are that day.

From September through April, we fish productive waters throughout the Vancouver area, including Sandheads, the Strait of Georgia, Howe Sound and the Gulf Islands, targeting Chinook salmon along with Coho and Sockeye when available and in season.

Our rates are for the entire boat—not per person—with up to four guests.

Full-Day Vancouver Salmon Fishing Charter

$1,400 per day

8-hour private fishing charter for up to four guests. Fuel included.

A full eight-hour charter gives us the time to make the most of Vancouver’s diverse fishing grounds. Depending on the season, weather and where the fish are holding, we can travel to the area offering the best opportunity that day rather than being limited by a shorter charter.

Whether you’re an experienced angler, visiting Vancouver, taking the family fishing or planning a day on the water with clients, the boat is reserved exclusively for your group.

Winter Vancouver Chinook Salmon Fishing

$1,200 per day — Beginning November 1

8-hour private fishing charter for up to four guests. Fuel included.

Vancouver’s winter Chinook fishery offers a completely different way to experience salmon fishing on the West Coast.

From November through the winter months, we target feeding Chinook throughout Vancouver’s surrounding waters. Fishing locations vary with the conditions and where the fish are holding, giving us the flexibility to fish areas such as Howe Sound, the Strait of Georgia.

Winter fishing also means fewer boats on the water, spectacular coastal scenery and a full day dedicated to finding fish.

At $1,200 for the entire boat, our winter rate gives groups of up to four guests a full eight-hour private Vancouver salmon fishing charter at one straightforward price.

Every Vancouver charter includes:

• Opportunities for prawning and crabbing when available and in season

Adding prawning and crabbing to your Vancouver fishing day can be a great addition to the experience. When seasons, regulations and conditions allow, we can incorporate setting or checking traps alongside your salmon fishing.

Guests are responsible for purchasing their own B.C. Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence and should bring clothing appropriate for the conditions, food and drinks for the day, and a cooler for taking their catch home.

We prefer full-day Vancouver fishing charters because salmon fishing changes with tides, weather, currents and the movement of bait and fish.

An eight-hour day gives us more flexibility to change locations, work productive tides and travel farther when the best fishing isn’t close to the marina.

A 25% retainer is required to reserve your charter and secure your fishing date.

Our Vancouver season runs primarily from September through April, and availability changes throughout the season.

Once your charter is confirmed, we’ll provide the information you need to prepare for your day, including fishing licence requirements, what to bring and departure details.
