One of the unique advantages of fishing from Winter Harbour is access to both open Pacific waters and the sheltered waters of Quatsino Sound.
When offshore conditions are favourable, we take advantage of the productive outer coast and offshore fishing grounds that make this area famous.
When weather conditions make offshore travel less desirable, Quatsino Sound provides a calm, protected alternative that continues to offer productive fishing opportunities.

And yes—the fish and chips remain a camp tradition.

Our Winter Harbour fishing season runs from June through September.
During this period, anglers have opportunities to target:
- Chinook Salmon
- Coho Salmon
- Halibut
- Lingcod
- Albacore Tuna (seasonal)
