Vancouver Fishing Report

June 10, 2026

June marks the beginning of the Vancouver area coho fishery, this season is no exception to that. There has been good coho fishing in all the local spots including the south side of bowen, the hump, off QA markers and even a few inside the freighters.

All the usual gear is getting hits and our favourites include the luhr jensen flash flies and the old faithful white hootchie. Troll a bit faster and fish between 35-75 ft.

Remember to release all chinooks. They are not open yet.

Westcoast

We are not on the west coast yet but from the reports we are hearing of by colleagues in the area, Its been pretty steady fishing. I would thing all the typical small spoons that we normally fishing in the winter harbour area will be producing and squid should be showing up any day now.

The small Gold star Coho Killers are dynamite this time of year.
